Texaco and its familiar "Red Star" welcome motorists around the world. For the Texaco name has become synonymous with quality products and expert and professional service. The company had its beginnings in 1902 when Texas oilman "Buckskin" Joe Cullinan and New York investor Arnold Schalet founded The Texas Company. Before long, the company was called Texaco Inc.
